What is the Light Entertainment Company Sponsorship Program?

Fully approved through Light International Inc, the Light Entertainment Company Sponsorship Program is the official avenue for substantial, non-directed monetary contributions to the Light Entertainment Company. It is the closest and most direct method for a corporation or individual to support Light Entertainment. In return, Light Entertainment Company will make official acknowledgment and thanks for the donation via PR involvement (as appropriate according to sponsorship level), sponsor logo and link ('nofollow' at the Bronze and Copper levels) on the Light Entertainment Thanks page (logo and link subject to Light International Inc. approval) and an official Light Entertainment Company logo to place on the Sponsor's site.

There are five sponsorship levels, defined by donation and in-return benefits of sponsorship. No more than 25% of value can be based on in-kind services

Platinum Sponsorship

  • Logo in rotating placement
  • Logo in your own row
  • 12 Annual Passes to all Performances and VIP Seating at all applicable events
• Light Entertainment Company provided Platinum Sponsorship logo for your site
• Joint press release with the Light Entertainment Company

Gold Sponsorship

• Donation level: $40k / year
• Your logo (max size: 150x75) on our Light Entertainment Company Thanks page with link
  • Logo Location: upper-middle section of page
  • Logo in alphabetical placement
  • Logo in possible shared row
  • 8 Annual Passes to all Performances and VIP Seating at all applicable events
• Light Entertainment Company provided Gold Sponsorship logo for your site
• Personal provided quote for your PR

Silver Sponsorship

• Donation level: $20k / year
• Your logo (max size: 75x38) on our Light Entertainment Company Thanks page with link

Why should I sponsor the Light Entertainment Company?

By sponsoring the Light Entertainment Company you show your support for our mission and help sustain a vibrant organization. Sponsorship also shows your support for the Performing Arts and sponsorship provides you the opportunity to "give back" to the community. Finally, since the Light Entertainment is non-profit organization, sponsorship provides attractive tax benefits.

Where will my sponsorship funds go?

We also have the normal business operating expenses which go with any performing organization. These include:

• Studio, Storage and Bus Rental
• Music and Choreographers
• Costumes and Travel gear
• Legal and Accounting Expenses
• Normal office expenses
• Marketing and Public Relations Expenses
• Administrative and secretarial duties

Your sponsorship will allow the Light Entertainment Company to meet these expenses as well as expand our capability to maintain our leadership in the developing of our young people into community and civic leaders who have a firm grasp on who they are and how they can give back to their community.

The Light International Inc is a non-profit organization

Light International Inc is registered as a non-profit, charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code. This means that, for individuals within the U.S., donations to the Light Entertainment Company should be tax-deductible. We are not accountants, so this cannot be trusted as financial advice of any kind, but hopefully this description will be useful to those who advise you in these matters. Sponsorship donations are handled differently from standard non-directed donations, so if you want your donations to be part of the Sponsorship program (and thus obtain the benefits of the program), you must coordinate the donation with the Public Relations and Fundraising teams.
